Welcome from our principal

"At Hinchinbrook Public School, every child’s potential is valued, nurtured, and celebrated. As the relieving principal, I am proud to lead a dedicated team of teachers and staff who are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for every student.

Our purpose is:

  • to ensure our school culture is focused on learning and educational aspiration, we are committed to meeting the needs of all students empowering them to strive for ongoing improvement. Our school community will connect, succeed, thrive and learn through a whole school strategic and planned approach to wellbeing.
  • to ensure evidence-based explicit teaching will be at the forefront of our practices. Quality teaching will be inclusive of collaboration, feedback, high expectations, differentiation and data driven practice to improve teaching and learning.
  • to develop leadership through an inclusive and supportive culture that reflects and respects the diversity within the school community, modelling high expectations and improvement. Students benefit from the school's planned and proactive approach to engage with parents as partners and the broader community.
